Stop accepting trash from your partner because they are great in the bedroom. Instead, take a good look at areas of your relationship or marriage that can be improved so both of you can enjoy each other.

  •  What do you do when you're an extrovert or introvert, but your partner is the opposite?

  • How does it make you feel when your spouse puts his family or friends before you?

  • What happens when you are upset about something?

  • Is your lover showing you levels of intimacy outside of the sheets?

  • How does your significant other really stack up against what you really want in a partner?

When two become one, there is bound to be conflict.

Couples therapy is not what you think. I am not here to take sides. I’m not here to judge you. I’m not here to correct your partner. I’m not here to tell either of you what to do. I’m actually here to listen to both of your needs so that you can see commonalities and create expectations for what will work in your relationship. Couples therapy is all about making sure the both of you have what you need based on your rules.

I know your partner may be giving you the side-eye at the mention of couples therapy. Sometimes it starts like that! However, discussing important topics in a neutral environment is a good thing. Oftentimes, people avoid difficult conversations because they are unsure how to express themselves or concerned that things may be tense. You may believe therapy can help you but you still have questions about couples therapy.

  • Any time is a good time to start couples therapy. It's great to begin before small things turn into big troubles.

  • If you are your partner are planning on marriage with each other, the sooner the better. You can use pre-martial counseling as a foundation for couples therapy in the future which is more in-depth.

  • Couple's therapy can be done without both partners present and having you both present in the room creates an environment of trust between all parties. Couples who attend therapy have a higher success rate than those attending therapy to strengthen their relationship alone.
